What is E-Waste?

Electronic waste or e-waste describes discarded electrical or electronic devices. This can be computer desktops, monitors, printers, and more.

What e-waste do you accept?

Aloha Overstock will pickup most e-waste. A couple things we cannot take:

Broken CRT Monitors
Microwaves
Batteries

If you have questions about what is in your collection, don’t hesitate to contact us.

Where will you pick-up from?

Currently, Aloha Overstock can pickup anywhere on the island of Oahu. Please be aware that while you may request a date for pickup, ultimately, it will depend on our availability to make it happen. Please note that pickups are based on loading dock/curbside pickup. If the pickup is on upper floors or requires special handling or time frames there may be additional charges – please advise and request a quote.

How much does it cost?

Currently, we charge $0.50 a pound if dropped off at our Kalihi warehouse location. If we pick it up, we charge $0.75 a pound with a $99.00 minimum in the Metropolitan Honolulu Area. Going further than that, the rate increases to $0.85 a pound and a $150 minimum. If you have more questions about what we collect, contact us!

What about laptops?

Currently, we offer a $1.00 credit for every laptop collected. This credit can be applied toward the cost of the collection, toward the purchase of any replacement imaging supply we offer, or even some of our laser cut items!

Can you destroy hard drives? Do you give a certificate of destruction?

Yes! We do destroy hard drives and can offer you a certificate of destruction. Please contact us for details and fees.
